I’m Kendall Murakami and welcome to another M.N.I (My name
is). I am an avid gem-a-holic and enjoy collecting gems
to put into my creations. I actually used to work for one
of the best gem stores in America and it was one of the
coolest jobs I’ve ever had. While at that job, I learned
to pick stones using the 4 c’s (cut, clarity, color, and
carat), so the gems in my body adornments are the best that
I can find. I use a X10 triplet on all the stones I buy
for my creations and look at them from every angle, so if
you hate the stone you get, send it back and I will give
you your money back.
I enjoy the torch and love to melt metal just as much
as I like looking for gemstones. I love the way the torch
kisses the metal and transforms it into something totally
different. I love working with all metals including gold,
but I don’t work with gold much, because …well…it’s too
damn expensive.
